How Floks uses cookies

Floks uses cookies and similar technologies for:

Essential functions: keeping you signed in and securing your session (via Firebase Authentication). These are always active — the Platform can't work without them, so they're not subject to consent.
Analytics (optional, off by default): we use Google Analytics 4 (Google's gtag.js, measurement ID G-P4K3DRBJ7N) to understand aggregate, de-identified traffic — which pages people visit and how they move through the site — so we can improve Floks. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<id>) to distinguish visitors. These are set only after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. Until then, analytics runs in a cookieless mode and no analytics cookies are stored.

We do not use cookies for advertising or ad retargeting, and we don't share this data with advertising networks.

Your choices

When you first visit Floks you're asked whether to accept analytics cookies. Analytics is denied by default, so nothing beyond the essential cookies above is set unless you actively accept. You can decline and still use the site normally.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Clearing Floks' stored site data resets your choice, and you'll be asked again on your next visit. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using booking features.
